- 500g fresh spinach
- 1-2 discs fat reduce feta cheese
- Phyllo pastry
- 1 Egg
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Wilt spinach in a pan with salt and pepper to taste. Drain spinach of excess water. Crumb the feta cheese into a bowl and gently mix the spinach.
Fold a single sheet of phyllo pastry in half. At the base of the sheet (portrait view) add a tablespoon of spinach and feta mix. Fold the sides of the phyllo pastry towards the centre and roll from the base into a cigar with the ingredients inside.
Beat egg in a bowl and spread over the cigars. Place in baking dish and bake until golden brown and crispy.
